The 2009 Athletic Training Student will be held January 17, 2009 in Peachtree City, Georgia at the Wyndham Peachtree Conference Center. Online Registration for this meeting is $35 and on-site registration is $50 for everyone at the door. Lunch is included in the registration fee.
This one-day workshop is intended for high school athletic training students and will provide an overview of the profession of athletic training.
Pre-registration is encouraged so we can have an accurate count of those attending in order to plan ahead and keep costs down.
Created in 1986, the GATA is an organization committed to education of its members and enhancement of the profession of athletic training, leading to better healthcare for the population which it serves. The GATA is proudly composed of licensed athletic trainers in many different settings. Over 700 licensed athletic trainers from professional, collegiate, and high school teams to industrial programs, rehabilitation clinics, and physician extenders all work together to promote and practice the profession of athletic training within the state of Georgia.
